AFAP and HIAM are working together in the delivery of aid to people overseas who are in need. AFAP closely monitors the work of HIAM Health to ensure the delivery of relief to the needy on the ground in Timor-Leste in terms of project outcomes. AFAP allows HIAM Health to use donated funds or donations in kind only for benevolent activities undertaken by HIAM Health.

Why AFAP?

HIAM Health is a Timor-Leste based Non-Government Organisation and as such, has no operations in Australia. Therefore it is not eligible to receive Deductible Gift Recipient status from the Australian Taxation Office. Our relationship with AFAP therefore enables Australian donors to receive a tax deduction for their gift. AFAP retains the ultimate discretion whether to distribute any funds in accordance with the preference expressed by the donor.

If you do not intend to claim a tax deduction, you may alternatively use the Donate button below to make your payment directly to HIAM Health.
