This little boy has survived for the second time sever malnutrition even though he is now on the road to recovery, because he is under 3 years of age the damage to his development, mental and physical is irreversible.
This little one was not as severe as the one above so as long as his mother now continues to come to the center fortnightly and have his health monitored he should develop normally.

This family has had a long association with HIAM-Health. Fortnightly monitoring on weight/height development in children plus supplementary feeding combined with the weekly health education classes can be a preventative measure to poor growth and sickness in children.

Workshop on Intestinal Parasites. It is estimated that between 80-90% of children here are infected with parasites 25% of these children have 2 or more different types of worms inside them.
